As Scouting’s National Honor Society, one of Shawnee Lodge’s basic objectives is to promote the camping program of the Greater St. Louis Area Council, as well as promoting National High Adventure Bases.
Summer Camp is the high point of the year for a Scout, yet many Scouts are hesitant about attending camp because they’ve never been there. What younger Scouts, as well as older Scouts, are waiting for is someone to come and tell/remind them about all the things they can do at summer camp, and to encourage them to go to camp.

Below you will find resources you can use to help promote summer camp and the various specialty camps available.
