Pathfinder is one of nine chapters comprising Shawnee Lodge #51, Order of the Arrow. We are chartered by the Pathfinder District of the Greater St. Louis Area Council, BSA. As a chapter, we promote the fourfold purpose of the OA: recognizing honor campers, promoting the BSA camping program, building leaders, and living lives of cheerful service.

Jack J. Sophir Arrowman of the Year
This award is given out to Arrowmen in the Pathfinder Chapter who have performed outstanding service to Scouting and the Order of the Arrow.
Vigil Honor
The Vigil Honor is the highest honor to be bestowed upon members in the Order of the Arrow.
Founder’s Award
Introduced at the 1981 National Order of the Arrow Conference, the Founder’s Award recognizes Arrowmen who have given outstanding service to their lodge. The award is reserved for an Arrowman who demonstrates that he or she personifies the spirit of selfless service, as advocated by founder E. Urner Goodman and cofounder Carroll A. Edson.
Shawnee Lodge Winter Fellowship Banquet – December 21
Registration is now open for the 2025 Shawnee Lodge Winter Fellowship Banquet! Register quickly to guarantee your spot. Winter Banquet provides the great experience of spending time with fellow Arrowmen and enjoying great food while also getting updates on Shawnee Lodge!
Winter Banquet is on December 21st, at the Moolah Shrine Center, 12545 Fee Fee Rd, St. Louis, MO 63146. Doors open at 4, with the program beginning at 5. The Winter Banquet will feature the Vigil Honor class of 2026 call-out, recognition of the Founder’s Award recipients, as well as the annual Shawnee Lodge Business Meeting. Additionally, there will be a trading post available that sells Shawnee Lodge merchandise and accepts all major forms of payment. Season Pass holders must register using the passcode that was emailed to them and must register by 11:59 pm on Sunday December 8th to guarantee their seat. Pathfinder Ice Skating Social – Join fellow Arrowman for an ice-skating social on January 4 from 2:30-4pm. Arrive by 2:15 p.m. to get your skates before the session starts at 2:30 pm. Cost is $9 for skate rental and session fee. Don’t worry if you do not know how to skate, you will be in good company and have a great time.
