February Chapter Meeting Update
Sixteen people attended the February Chapter meeting on February 4th, at 6:30 PM, at the West Pine Scout Office. The Chapter discussed steps towards becoming a quality chapter for the 2009 - 2010 year, recruited an Elangomat for the Spring Conclave (Thanks Paul Fister!), and elected Jasen Jackson to fill the vacant Second Vice position (Congrats Jasen!). We also had a pizza party in celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America.
A complete calendar of Chapter Events (and other district events) can be found at:

The next events after the Chapter Meeting are CSAW/BSAW, the District Pinewood Derby, and the Ceremonial Team Seminar. Members who wish to help at the District Pinewood Derby (February 20th at Union Station) should see Paul Winter at the Chapter Meeting.

November Chapter Meeting well attended
The November Chapter Meeting was held at the West Pine Scout Office on November 5th. The 18 members in attendance, including 8 youth members, were the most at a Grand Towers Chapter Meeting in several years. The program was a hands-on demonstration about beading in relation to ceremonial regalia. The ritual team committed to attend the Ceremonial Team Seminar and perform at the Spring Conclave if enough candidates are available.

The Grand Towers Chapter performed its first Ordeal Ceremony in nearly seven years at the 2009 Fall Reunion. Congrats to Daniel McRath, Dylan Meals, John Bromell, Hans Brende and Marquis Smith! We look to improve upon this performance at the Spring Conclave.
