The Pre-Ordeal Weekend is an opportunity for scouts who were elected and unable to attend the Pre-Ordeal ceremony at camp and did not complete the beginning portion of the induction. We encourage those who have not completed the Pre-Ordeal ceremony to do so prior to Fall Reunion in order to ensure they have the opportunity to participate in and complete the the Ordeal ceremony. Scouts who attend this weekend should bring a tarp/ ground cloth, sleeping gear, water, and anything needed to prepare for the weather that evening and the following morning. Check-in begins at 7:30 p.m. at the Council Ring behind the Trading Post and the candidates will depart at 8:15 p.m. Adult leadership is required for all youths in attendance during the weekend. Adult leaders attending to accompany a youth, and are not going through the Pre-Ordeal as a candidate, can sleep in the camporee field. All scouts and scouters staying overnight are required to have parts A & B of a Boy Scout medical form to attend.
